Passage West to Rochestown Cycle Route Public Exhibition
Filed under: Transport , also relevant to: Local News, Rochestown
A Public Exhibition of the proposed Passage West to Rochestown Cycle Route will be held tomorrow Wednesday 2nd September 2009 in the Rochestown Park Hotel from 4pm to 8pm.
This is an opportunity for the public, especially those who live locally, to take an active part in the decision making process, to view the plans and discuss any concerns they have with Cork County Council staff members and local public representatives.
The exhibition is being held in a local venue and at a time in the evening that should be suitable for people who are working.

The news of the proposd new cycle route is welcomed but there are are more urgent issues requiing money that need to be addressed first such as,
1 Grass cutting on roads from Rochetown on through to Rafeen
The back road from Toureen to Church Hill is a disgrace
2 Providing full time resources to maintain street cleaning & parks from Passage west to Monkstown
I am sure there are more but these are a few to start with
