Money for personal alarms is on the way to Cork Carers Association
Filed under: General News , also relevant to: Careers Association, Cork, elderly, Personal Comment
CORK Carers Association is soon to receive funding from the Department of Community, Equality and Gaeltact Affairs to purchase personal alarms for elderly people. The association had made an application some time back and there had been a delay in getting the application processed. I asked the minister this week if the funding was going to be received and, if so, when. He has told me that he expects ‘a payment will issue in the coming week’.
