Dress success for Down Syndrome Ireland is welcomed news
Filed under: General News , also relevant to: disability, Personal Comment
A letter from Down Syndrome Ireland earlier this week outlined that a significant €60,000 was raised from their recent ‘Buy My Dress’ event.
The fundraiser was aimed at raising money for the charity but the amount of publicity around the event helped raise the profile of the charity as well.
I was delighted to donate a dress when asked last May and am looking forward to next years event already.
Congratulations to all involved.
